During your visit to Asia, you get a chance to enjoy not only the spectacular sights but also the great cuisines of the various Asian cities. Singapore tops the best Asian restaurants list because of the innovation they offer in the form of providing the diners a chance to see the kitchen action, and thus communicate directly with the chef. Iggy’s in Singapore is the restaurant that is renowned to be the best in Asia. Other great restaurants in Singapore are Les Amis, Gunther’s, and Garibaldi.

The L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon in Hong Kong is a great restaurant. The restaurant is very casual in its ambience, and allows the diners to see the preparation of their dishes. Moreover, the people are also allowed to compose meals in accordance with their appetite. Another very good restaurant in Hong Kong is Bo Innovation. Old Chinese methods of cooking are used in the restaurant. This restaurant offers great ambience with its chopstick shaped lamps and a cosy kind of lighting.

The Mozaic Restaurant in Bali, Indonesia is also a great one. It has a unique setting that is elegant, enjoyable and charming.

Malaysian Tourism Board promotes the country as Truly Asia. With the fascinating fusions of tradition and modernity, Malaysian cities’ unique multi-cultural heritage, cuisine, arts and architecture make them ideal cosmopolitan getaways. Malaysia’s mix background of Chinese, Malay, Indian and colonial heritages constantly amaze western travelers with its cultural richness and harmony, presenting a truly Asian variety of sights and sounds.

Kuala Lumpur City Center
Travel to Kuala Lumpur city and you would be awestruck by the ultra-modern Petronas Twin Towers at the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC). The Petronas Twin Towers are 452 meters tall, contain 88 stories, & are the world’s tallest twin structures.
Situated on the previous site of the Royal Turf Club in the heart of the capital city, the Kuala Lumpur City Centre is truly a spectacular Architectural sight. Here, the 88-storey Petronas Twin Towers, the world’s tallest twin structures, soars to a dizzying height of 452 metres. Cesar Pelli was the Architect of this masterpiece. Inspired by the Five Pillars of Islam, this gleaming mega-structure was designed by the Argentinian-American architect in earlies 90s. Below the towers, lies a beautifully landscaped fountain park designed by prominent Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx. KLCC is also home to the world-class Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Suria Shopping Centre and Petronas Philharmonic Hall.
Kuala Lumpur Railway station
Take a short taxi ride from KLCC and let yourself be charmed by the classic Moorish-style of the old Railway station. Kuala Lumpur Railway Station is located at Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. It is a very beautiful building. It has a Moorish-style which was designed by architect A.B Hubbock. Built in 1910, the building is about 80 years old. I am sure it is built long before you and me were here. In 1986, the station went under extensive renovations, upgraded to have air-conditioned waiting hall, snack kiosks, tourism information booth and many more. In the past, it used be very quiet but since the city commuter service started, it is a very busy station now. All the Intercity train services do not stop here anymore because there is a new railway station opened called KL Sentral, less than 1KM away from the old railway station.

Shopping Extravaganza
Shop in some of world’s most luxurious malls at Kuala Lumpur shopping precincts like Bukit Bintang, Damansara Utama, Ampang, Mid valley, Subang Jaya, Sunway City, etc.

Every year, Malaysia has six weeks of great shopping promotions, bargains and discounts of up to 70% on a wide range of products and services at all major shopping precincts, malls and retail outlets nationwide. Check on www.tourism.gov.my for the yearly Malaysia Megasale calendar periods.

Be part of the festivities when you drop-in at your favorite malls and enjoy fantastic prizes as you take part in the fun contests and activities lined-up for you and your family. Get instant redemption and gifts when you charge with Master Card and be in the running to win your dream holiday at Malaysia’s premier resort destination, The Four Seasons, Langkawi.

Know that your shopping experience doesn’t stop at the malls. Do check out the countless bargains and offers from hotels, travel agents, entertainment outlets, spas and restaurants around town. With the whole of Malaysia celebrating this major sale event, you and your family can shop to your hearts’ content and have a great fun time chilling out too.

Malaysian Nightlife
Experience a bargain with a trader in a bustling night market. Whether you sample a succulent stick of satay at a roadside hawker stall or spicy chilli crab at a Chinese restaurant, you will revel in the many alluring attractions. The Night Market is a nice place to visit as the atmosphere at nightfall always makes for a different experience. Here, you will get a chance to dine al fresco under the stars and moon. There are food stalls set up near the main bus terminal. These stalls are open from 6pm onwards till about midnight, serving up some truly delicious dishes. This is your chance to enjoy good Malaysian food, the Malaysian way!

Overview
While parts of Kuala Lumpur have recently been overrun with modernization, other parts of the city remain virtually untouched. The effect of this scattered modernization is a city that is appealing for both its modern attractions and its historical and cultural appeal. Kuala Lumpur’s history and culture are apparent it its open air markets and Chinese and Hindu temples. Visitors can take a walk through Merdeka Square, the field where Malaysian independence was first declared, spend an evening at Jamek Mosque to experience an aspect of Islamic life, or spend a day shopping and dining in the Chow Kit Market, the largest market in the city where silks, spices, and fresh fish are sold by friendly local vendors. For a more exciting and tourist-oriented experience, visitors to Kuala Lumpur should experience Cosmo’s World, Malaysia’s largest indoor theme park, indulge in the view from the sky bridge that extends between the Petronas Twin Towers, and listen to the international music at the Backroom, Malaysia’s largest dance club that frequently features internationally-known DJs. Best of all, Kuala Lumpur is home to some of the least expensive five-star hotels in the world.

Outdoor Attractions
Just outside of the city’s center is Lake Gardens, a serene garden where visitors can watch some of Malaysia’s exotic birds in their natural environment, take a boat ride down Lake Perdana, or simply take a romantic stroll with a loved one. Adventure-seeking tourists may choose to scale the steep limestone routes at Batu Caves.

Sightseeing Attractions
Animal enthusiasts and traveling families will want to make a stop at Aquaria, Kuala Lumpur’s aquarium that houses 5,000 varieties of tropical fishes. Merdeka Square features the world’s tallest flag pole, the Sultan Abdul Samad building, Old City Hall, The Royal Selangor Club, and St. Mary’s Cathedral. Kuala Lumpur’s national monument to its war dead, Tugu Negara, is an interesting attraction to both history buffs and art enthusiasts. Finally, Istana Negara, Kuala Lumpur’s national palace and home to Malaysia’s constitutional monarch, is a sight worth seeing, and visitors will enjoy watching the changing of guards ceremony daily from the main gate.

Nightlife
The home of the well-regarded Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Dewan Filharmonik Petronas, is nestled at the base of the Twin Towers. This is an excellent evening destination; however, a strict dress code is enforced. To see a play, Istana Budaya is the place to go. For dining adventures, check out the China Town, Little Indian, and Golden Triangle areas for either samplings of traditional Chinese, North Indian, and Tamil dishes or more worldly cuisine choices. Kuala Lumpur’s largest shopping district is the Bukit Bintang area, though, for a cheaper and more original souvenir, you’ll want to check out Central Market and Chinatown, but be prepared to haggle.

An article by Ray Andrew

We know Asia its agreat country and with alot of great resources but lets take a look at its culture and the great places for travel that can be found in many places of Asia.

With Asia’s immense size, and natural and cultural diversity, it can be daunting to the first-time visitor from the West. After a long period of instability and war, Cambodia has once again become a viable tourist destination. And Angkor Wat, which boasts around 100 temples, is undoubtedly the country’s biggest draw. From the heights of the world’s tallest building in Kuala Lumpur to the depths reached by divers off Borneo, Malaysia has something for everyone. China, with its population now well in excess of one billion people , has so much to see and do that it would require a lifetime to explore.

Despite the fact that India is considered the world’s largest democracy, religion is present everywhere, and the great architecture that celebrates the faiths of Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, and Sikhs is not hard to find. To make the most of your time in Asia, there are some important factors to consider before you go. For instance, it costs a lot more to visit during peak travel periods, and these can vary even within a country. Also, remember to read the fine print for hidden costs (such as additional taxes) before you book a package.

When you fly is as important as where you fly if you’re trying to save money on airfare. As with vacation packages, you can find the cheapest airfares to Asia on midweek days and in the low season.
As a general rule, don’t wait any longer than about three to four weeks before you fly to book your tickets. This will help you save a lot more for your Asia vacation.

And with Asia beginning to open more to the west economy we can see that they are willing to receive people from all parts of the world with a great smile and also giving the security of having a great time.

Happy, is a word so close to our hearts. In fact, happiness is a worldwide subject of discussions. Being happy is a topic of searchers and researchers for ages. While total happiness is a choice for us to experience at any given moment as the ultimate rights of our life.

Please observe that, when an individual could not find happiness, he or she begin to wonder, “why am I not happy?”. When another individual see people who are happy, they begin to caution, “why are you so happy? Don’t hurt yourself now”. When other individual knows a bit about happiness, he or she begin to probe, “are you happy?”. Of course there many more questions to ask. However, at this point it is pertinent to ask, “where can we find total happiness?”.

To illustrate, please imagine this scenario. Sometime ago, the one in a house has observed another who is not happy. The one suggested, “honey, let me take you to the cinema, or a concert tonite. Maybe you long for a circus, there is one nearby. Well, I can even fly with you to Hawaii this Saturday. Or would you prefer that we tour as far as Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia? Do tell me where the place on this globe that you want to go, I’ll take ou there, as long as it makes you happy!”

Yet, the result shall be beyond one’s comprehension, because any place outside oneself has nothing to do with one’s total happiness inside. Horace Friess, once said, “all seasons are beautiful for the person who carries happiness within”.

Yes, total happiness is not without, but within. In fact, total happiness is a gift from the God, to us eversince we were being born into this world. Total happiness is our birthright. As babies it is only natural for us to being happy. In addition, we are continuously being in this state of total happiness inside regardless of what happen or what did not happen outside. In fact, we are able to attain, maintain, and sustain total happiness from then on, throughout our life, until our inevitable death.

Total happiness is within us. Pure, complete and wholesome. It has always been here. It is still here now. Nothing and no one on the face of this earth can take it away from us. It’s level is constant, therefore it cannot be any less or more. It is consistently enough at all times. It is just right for us as we celebrate our first happy birthday, and it is enough even till we celebrate beyond our 100th., happy birthday. We are still happy, moment after moment, and year after year. Naturally we cannot be otherwise.

Yet, when we look around, we are witnessing a great majority of people who are unhappy. There are those who seem to have lost their happiness. They are being unhappy most of the time. The dire need to reach a level of being happy becomes more and more difficult for them. The farther they search for it, the more unhappy they become. The hotter the pursuit of happiness, the more elusive it becomes to them. The more intense their desire for happiness, the more stressful is the challenges of their daily living. Of course total happiness is an illusion. To answer why, Ramona L. Anderson said, “people spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within”.

Surely many people have missed happiness, while others are still searching for the secret to total happiness, and so far none of them are able to receiving and also to most of them none are able to give a correct and satisfying answer to the question of happiness.

Total happiness is within us, why then most of us are searching for it without. Total happiness in always inside us, so why are we looking for it outside. The title of this article at the outset already suggests the very answer to the question “where shall we find total happiness, and where is it’s location?”. The facts remain and it is assuring to know that total happiness is within us. Total happiness is inside us. To illustrate, please imagine a house full of oranges. Yes, oranges on the dining table, in a basket near the television set, in the refrigerator, and more in the store. To exaggerate further, the location of this house is on a piece of land surounded by an orchard of oranges. One day, the resident of the house is about to go out, when his spouse started to ask him, “where are you going?”. To this question he answered, “I am going out to find some oranges”.

Almost similar, you shall find total happiness within us, so we do not have to look for happiness outside. We do not have to be everywhere, nowhere, elsewhere or anywhere to enjoy happiness. We do not need anything to happen, and we do not hope that something won’t happen, in order to attain happiness. Deep within us, we are already happy. We possess it, and it belongs to us. The God has given us total ownership of our own happiness. We are totally happen regardless of any happenstance surrounding our life. We do not have to travel to any hotel or any resort to claim it. Instead beginning now we may choose to advance into an inner journey toward the center of our being should we choose to really discover it. We can touch base as of now, and be in enlightenment and not endarkenment in relations to our total happiness.

Anyone searching for happiness with the wrong reasons, will surely miss it. Let me explain with this familiar story. There are two guys in the darkness of a room. One ask the other, “what are you searching?”, The other answered, “I am searching for a box of matches”. “What for?”, asked the one. “So that I could find the torchlight”, came the answer. “Now, why do you need the torchlight?”, exclaimed the other. “So that I could find a box of matches to lit this cigerette, you silly!”

In addition, anyone searching for happiness at the wrong place, will surely miss it also. Let me explain with another familiar story. There was a man searching for something under a lamp post. A passerby asked him, “what are you searching?” He answered, “my wedding ring”. The passerby thought that ring must be important to this man, so he offered, “may I assist you?”. The man nodded. The passerby then asked to make sure, “where exactly did you lose it?”. The man stooded up straight and pointed his finger to a distant tree. The passerby wondered and asked, “why do you not search for it there?”. The man answered, “Oh! It’s too dark there, here under this lamp post it is so much brighter”.

Now do you know where happy is? Do you also know where is real, true, or total happiness? Do you know where to find a state of being happy? Where the place is? Where is its location? Democritus said, “happiness resides not in possessions and not in gold, the feeling of happiness dwells in the soul”. While Aristotle, said “to live happily is an inward power of the soul”. Less anyone forget, one’s soul is inside oneself, and not outside, OK.

Next, please see what Helen Keller said, “happiness cannot come from without. It must come from within. It is not what we see and touch or that which others do for us which makes us happy; it is that which we think and feel and do…”.

Yes, total happiness is within you. The message of this article is for you to touch base. Close your eyes now and flow inside. So go on an inner journey into the center of your being. You shall reach a point where total happiness is. Then at every moment of your life, you are free to choose total happiness. This is a place where you shall choose to be. Be happy.
