What are the places like Langkawi near kuala lumpur ?

What are the other places like Langkawi ( water front Hotel) near kuala lumpur?
If you are OK with beaches only but no island, you can go to Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan (90 km from KL). If you want to go to islands, you can go to Pangkor Island, Perak (288 km from KL).

yea there are no such an island but you can visit Sunway Lagoon, Genting Highlands, Bukit Tinggi

Langkawi is in the northen part of malaysia where kuala lumpur is in the middle of malaysia. you need about 5-6 hour drive from kuala lumpur or 50 min by flight. indeed langkawi is a very nice place to visit. worth going…
