I am planning to on a vacation after a real long time(months of therapy and rehab after a horrific accident). A friend whose job took him to manila insists that I visit him instead of going to Malaysia. I and a friend are planning to fly to Singapore and then take a cruise ship to manila.
Just wanted to know whether its a good idea or not.

Visiting a new place can never be a bad idea. I am a Malaysian but i am not going to insist you to come to Malaysia eventhough Malaysia with it’s diverse culture and exotic places has much to offer than Philippines ( not in anyway undermining Philippines’ culture and attractions ) but to enjoy these attractions one has to travel quite a lot. I am afraid this might take a toll on you.

Therefore i think your idea of flying to Singapore and take a cruise to Manila is a good idea. Since you have just been discharged from rehab and therapy i think taking a cruise is a very good way for you to relax without exhausting you too much like what you would have to go through if you visit Malaysia. Morever when you reach Philippines , you’ll be able to meet your friend. Seeing a new place and experience new cultures and lifestyle in a new country like Philippines is still worth all the travel. Just relax your mind and body and you’ll enjoy yourself wherever you go, Philippines, Malaysia or any other places. Have a nice trip

  2. Yep, it’s a good idea better to go to Philippines first before you go to Singapore.
