Penang is definitely one of the most "colorful" tourist haven in Malaysia. The culture, the food and the heritage sites on Penang island is a must see. Make sure you drop by Penang, Malaysia. its a food haven, i can tell you that! if you like a real mixture of chinese,indian and malay, go there!

Nope; Thailand is definitely a better place. Vietnam has improved a lot as well; more and more people are going there.

I live in Malaysia but not in Penang. and yes, Penang is a a great place to visit but I won’t say that it is the best cos different people have differrent taste.
Anyway, it has some nice beaches for you to frolic in the sun. As Malaysia is a multi-racial country, you will be exposed to a multitude of cultures. It is said that you can find the best Malaysian food in Penang so if you enjoy food, this is the place to be. Penang is also quite a historical site as it was one of the first places that the Dutch and English colonials landed on so you can visit some place of interest. From Penang you can also take a ferry to Langkawi, another island and tourist destination where you can go island hopping cruises, scuba diving or snorkelling.
There is so much to see and explore so why don’t come over and experience it for yourself?

yeah… Penang is a great place in Malaysia. Better then KL, Malacca,and others…
When you visit Penang, dont forget to go to gurney drive… they have various of food there. you’ll like it…

I hope so…I plan to go there…as well as Singapore and Bali – and I would love to go to Vietnam…Everyone goes to Thailand…might pop there one day to take a look…but Malaysia excites me more!
